ISE all set for final outing in Amsterdam
The 17th edition of Integrated Systems Europe opens its doors today. Across 15 halls and six Technology Zones, more than 1,300 exhibitors will present their latest solutions to an eager audience of potential buyers from around the world. While the coronavirus will have an impact on exhibitor and attendee presence, ISE and the RAI Amsterdam have followed all the official advice and have put measures in place to ensure a healthy and safe environment.
The show’s co-owning associations AVIXA and CEDIA are once again strongly involved in the professional development programme at the show, with each organisation producing two conferences. A total of 14 conference are taking place this week, between them covering a wide range of vertical markets. New for 2020 are the Control Rooms Summit, the CEDIA Cybersecurity Workshop and the CEDIA Design and Build Conference.
AVIXA is also running 20-minute FlashTrack briefings for its members on a dedicated stand, while CEDIA has a full programme of training courses and certification exams across the week, as well as hosting 20- CEDIA Talks on its stand.
A major area of focus is Hall 14, minute where three inspiring show features are located. The Main Stage, sponsored by Shure, is hosting thought leadership sessions from renowned experts – presented by ISE, AVIXA, CEDIA and AV Magazine – throughout the four days of the show. Nearby is the Innovation Zone, a special area showcasing companies with exciting new technologies and solutions. Rounding off the trio of special features in Hall 14 is the VR at ISE feature, comprising a powerful three-person engineering VR collaboration and a thrilling underwater-themed VR ride.
ISE 2020 will be the last edition of the show held at the RAI Amsterdam; next year the show moves to the Fira – Gran Via in Barcelona. A special ¡Hola Barcelona! Lounge, between Halls 7 and 8, will answer attendees’ questions about ISE’s new location. On Friday, the final day of the show, a special event, also called ¡Hola Barcelona!, will be held at 12:00 in the RAI Forum. Introduced by Integrated Systems Events Managing Director Mike Blackman, it will look back over ISE’s history during the RAI years, and also look ahead to 2021, with contributions from Spanish dignitaries including the Catalan Minister for Business and Knowledge.
ISE 2020 promises to be an exciting and fitting conclusion to 15 editions at the RAI Amsterdam.
