New grandiose achievement for the printer Figarol-Groupe Faire Valoir

Expo "Leonardo the feminine" in Blois – March , 2019
On the occasion of the International Day of Women's Rights and in the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the Figarol workshops of the Faire-Valoir group will accompany the artist-photographer Philippe Lucchese in a new and grand exhibition street in the heart of the city of Blois.

Two giant outdoor frescoes – 7×13 m and 6×4 m – revisiting in photo two major works by Leonardo da Vinci (The Last Supper and The Man of Vitruvius) were printed, as well as 7×2 m explanatory kakemonos, on fabric in sublimation.
This ecological, qualitative and extremely practical technology to make his works travel has conquered the artist for more than 2 years.

"We are delighted to accompany Philippe Lucchese once again in a monumental project to which our expertise as an innovative large format printer benefits and with whom we share strong values: modernity, accessibility of art, gender equality" explains Frédéric Roux, CEO of Faire Valoir Group.

The photographer inscribed this project in the continuity of his photographic work around the Woman and the great works of the History of Art.
For the past 5 years, he has been revisiting famous paintings by replacing all the characters with women.
Renaissance city, which has maintained a strong link with Catherine de Medici, Blois also celebrates, in 2019, 500 years of the birth of this illustrious woman of the sixteenth century that inspires Philippe Lucchese.
