Roland DG has extended the deadline for entries to the Roland Hero Awards 2018, giving incredible Roland users more time to share their fascinating stories.
The Roland Heroes mission began in April and has already unearthed amazing people and projects across EMEA, from new start-ups' first steps to major jobs completed by big names. Roland users are invited to nominate themselves as Roland Heroes and shout about their achievements – and to be in with a chance of winning an unforgettable holiday.
To allow more Roland Heroes to come forward, the deadline for applications has been extended to 31 December 2018, an additional two months from the original cut-off point.
"Since the launch of Roland Heroes in April, we've been truly inspired by our users' stories from across the region," says Gillian Montanaro, Head of Marketing at Roland DG EMEA.
"By extending the deadline, we hope to find even more Heroes who exemplify the creative, innovative and forward-thinking approach we have at Roland. Everything we do is motivated by our customers, and we are excited to hear about their experience using Roland technology."
In its Heroes search, Roland has already discovered stories of perseverance, passion, problem-solving, and progress – plus moving accounts of friendship and charity, thrilling tales of speed and surprise, and charming stories of family and magic.
Businesses and entrepreneurs who participate will be entitled to display the Roland Hero badge on their website, and will be featured on the Roland Hero platform – with the campaign extension providing an extra three months' coverage for existing applicants. A selection of entrants will also become Spotlight Heroes with their own video and photo shoots, with the overall winner offered the trip of a lifetime to Thailand, Iceland or Florida.
