Elitron at FESPA 2018: innovation never stops

In an ecosystem where innovation undergoes continuous changes, Elitron will showcase the upgrades of its digital cutting solutions designed, one for finishing on both large format media and roll materials for POP or sign & display, and the other for maximum finishing performances and top tier flexibility.

True innovation is what makes adopting smarter and more effective production methods come true.
Elitron’s main product upgrade which will be presented at FESPA 2018 will involve the Kombo TH. Featured by a double independent beam, an established Elitron technology, it ensures a reduction in overall throughput thanks to Twin Cut software which automatically balances the workload of each cutting head. Thanks to a software evolution it will be possible to assign to each cutting head a specific job, even on different materials. In this way the flexibility of the multi tool cutting head gets even more enhanced.
This new feature, on the one hand, simplifies and speeds up operations that require the use of more materials sequentially and, on the other makes short runs even more profitable and easy to be managed as the greater flexibility increases the just in time production capabilities of this digital cutting solution.

From wide format printing to wide format finishing in a seamless workflow thanks to cutting edge solutions.
Launched at Drupa 2016, Kombo SDC+ 3.2 is a digital cutting solution characterized by a 3m wide conveyor working area designed for all those wide format operators that need a flexible solution for large format rigid media and roll materials for POP or signage. This cutting system represents a further expansion of the Kombo SD Series and combines its flexibility thanks to the multi-tool carriage that can be equipped up to 5 tools such as: vibrating blade, 1 and 3kw mill, creasing wheel, kiss cutting blade for vinyl and adhesive materials, V-Cut blade for 45 ° manufacturing, circular blade for fibrous materials and many more.
As usual Elitron will feature its solutions with the innovative patented technology Seeker System for the automatic detection of printed images. Thanks to Seeker system the entire working area can be loaded time in and time out thus allowing for reduced operator requirements.
The video projection system, available as an add-on feature, allows to project virtual dies on the material and place the shape wherever the operator wants; thus allowing for fast the prototyping and to recover scrap materials.

To make a difference in an industry such as digital printing, tools and technologies that enable the users to take new roads and experiment with new concepts are essential prerequisites to make these ideas take shape.
Elitron awaits you at Hall 1.1 – Booth C20 to share these new visions!
