EskoWorld 2021 reveals packed agenda as virtual event launches

Esko has announced that registration for its annual technology showcase, EskoWorld, is now open – with a packed agenda for this year’s week-long virtual event.

The global supplier of integrated hardware and software solutions to brands and their packaging supply chains has announced that the online event will be held from May 17 to May 21, 2021. The program will focus on the digital transformation of the packaging industry, enabling businesses to digitize, automate and connect.
“For this year’s event, we have introduced a dedicated online platform and scheduled more than 80 content sessions, as well as making one-to-one appointments available with our team of experts,” said Melissa Plemen, Esko Sr. Director of Inside Sales and Marketing. “Over the course of the week-long event, we will be bringing our subject matter experts together to deliver a comprehensive program of inspirational talks, debates and training sessions to support our customers on their journey to digital maturity. Our guest speaker will be Shane Snow, an award-winning journalist and best-selling author. Shane’s clever and intelligent presentation will debunk myths of success and share unforgettable stories surrounding breakthrough innovation.”

EskoWorld is renowned for providing visitors with a wide range of exciting training and education workshops, as well as interactive learning opportunities. In addition to offering insights to best practice techniques, the event is also a platform for the company to showcase its latest hardware and software innovations and new product development roadmaps.

“After the 2020 event was staged virtually in response to the pandemic,” said Melissa, “the response from across the industry was such that making this year’s EskoWorld a bigger and more interactive virtual experience made clear sense.

“The packaging and labels industries have faced a number of challenges throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and it’s clear that digital transformation – driving automation and connectivity across the packaging and label supply chain – is key to businesses securing competitive advantage and thriving in what has become known as the ‘new normal’,” said Melissa. “EskoWorld helps bring that vision to reality and arms our customers with the knowledge, skills and insights to truly make a difference to their business performance.

A total of 86 dedicated sessions will address the latest cloud technology solutions from the company, alongside new flexo platemaking hardware developments, in addition to the latest artwork, design and prepress software developments.
