Staging ideas and innovations alongside the required technology with an eye to applications is part of the concept of the trade show trifecta that is viscom, PSI and PromoTex Expo. The next viscom takes place from 7th – 9th January, 2020 in Dusseldorf, parallel to PSI – Europe’s leading promotional product trade fair – and PromoTex Expo, the international trade fair for promotional, sports and workwear.
Together, they form the biggest trade fair affiliation in Europe devoted to sales and advertising, and which anticipates more than 1000 exhibitors and around 30,000 trade visitors from all over the world, giving them an opportunity to get involved, network and make their own experiences. A total of about 200 manufacturers and distributors from more than 40 countries will let visitors check out their newly developed products, showing them solutions from across the whole world of visual communication, with a special focus on digital large format printing, advertising technology, textile finishing machines and POS communication.
Petra Lassahn, Director of viscom: “In addition to presenting products and solutions, we offer visitors numerous opportunities to take part and try out machines and materials for themselves. Another focus, which links viscom with the PSI and PromoTex Expo trade fairs taking place at the same time, is sustainability. Health- and environment-friendly materials have gained considerably in importance, especially in furnishing and design. One example is the nonwoven fabric for wallpapers, which consists of fsc-certified wood. However, sustainability does not only refer to the handling of raw materials and efficient production processes, but also to corresponding business models in which the social component plays an increasingly important role.”
