New Decor System buys five-metre EFI VUTEk LED Roll-to-Roll Printer

A recently purchased EFI™ VUTEk® 5r LED roll-to-roll printer from Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (Nasdaq:EFII) is driving new business opportunities at Italian digital printing company New Decor System. FESPA Global Print Expo 2018 (Messe Berlin, 15 to 18 May) reinforced its standing as the global landmark event for speciality printers, with visitors from a record 142 countries gravitating to the German capital for the four-day show.  Following the 2017 shift to an annual event cycle and the decision to amalgamate the flagship show with its FESPA Digital ‘spin-off’, FESPA 2018 also attracted the largest number of visitors ever for a four-day FESPA show, with 20,442 individual visitors to FESPA and the co-located European Sign Expo 2018. Strategies and developments at Durst Tech Days 2018

Durst unveiled the latest technology developments in large format print, service and software at the Durst Tech Days May 18-19. Over two days at the Durst headquarters in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy, and its other manufacturing site in Lienz, East Tyrol, Austria, guests were told that sales of its new award-winning technology, the P5 platform, are building so fast that delivery times are now up to 10 weeks. FESPA Print Census 2018 Headline Findings

Introduced by Sean Holt, Executive Director, FESPA, Ron Gilbao, Group Director Production Technology, Keypoint Intelligence, presented the Print Census research for an audience of international journalists at FESPA 2018. Optimism was aware under over 1,400 respondents. 83% of the respondents were optimistic for their business. Digital Print is expected to contribute 53% of the total revenue within two years, while 48% of business have invested in training staff in new areas such as colour management.
